Jess showed this short film to the rest of the group today and we really enjoyed the way it was written and the comedic relief that was used. We all remembered deciding to run away from home when we were younger and I think it could be a really good idea for a short, socail realist narritive. We discussed this and think it would be a very good idea as although the story is quite simple, everyone we spoke to can relate to it or know someone who did something similar as a child. Also children are often unknowingly funny in situations such as this and so we can provide some comedic elements to an otherwise serious sequence.
